Abuse/Flaming

Abusing, flaming or being offensive to any other member is not allowed on the GZoneV2 forums. Although we dont mind good natured and playful name calling, teasing, ribbing, jokes, and occasional heated arguments and strong debates in the forums, we will not tolerate derogatory, racial, or religious insults. Anyone who abuses another member will be warned or in most cases have their account deleted.

Insulting a staff member may result in a ban or a warning, so don't try to insult a staff member because you don't know what the outcome will be.

Spamming

Spamming will not be tolerated at GZoneV2. If you're unsure as what spamming is, it can be any of the following;

* Small and useless posts. As an example, no "10/10 Lolz Gr8 post m8''.
* Bumping a dead topic, like older than a month and on page 5. (Please refer to each forums ''*Guidelines*'' regarding this rule futher)
* Links to or advertising other sites without permission and/or in the wrong section.

Also, spamming via the private message system is strictly against the rules as it could be considered an invasion of privacy and theft of message space. If you recieve any private messages which may seem to be spam, please report it to a global moderator or admin.

Advertising

As pretty much said above advertising websites or forums is prohibited in posts and threads. Anyone who makes a post just to advertise a website or forum will be warned and may even be banned from TheGZoneV2 forums.

However, you may advertise and place a link to your website or forums in the ''Cheap Plug'' forum - no where else.

And remember advertising via the private message system is strictly against the rules as well. It will be classed as spam.

Multiple Accounts

You are not allowed to register more then one account per person, so please only register once. If you are found to be using more then one account, these will be closed and you will be banned.

Avatars

If your unsure on what an avatar is, its a small image that goes beneath your username. You can add or change this in your "Control Panel."

* Please stray from using flashing images in your avatar.
* Anything obscene, vulgar, illegal, offensive, or racist is strictly forbidden in your avatar.
* All avatars are to be no bigger than 160 pixels by 200 pixels in size (160x200).

Signatures

If you're unsure on what a signature is, at the bottom of every post you make you will see your signature's content. Most likely picture or text.

* Signatures can be set up in your ''Control Panel'' and are optional.
* Signatures should be no bigger than 400 pixels by 400 pixels in size (400x400)
* There is no maximum size limit set yet, but please remember not everyone has a broadband connection to load up large signatures.
* Obscene, vulgar, illegal, offensive, or racist content is strictly forbidden in your signature, applies to links in your sig aswell.
* Staff reserves the right to remove your signature with proper and formal reason to do so.


Staff Right And Responsibilties

Public discussions of global moderator and admin actions are not allowed on this forum. It is also against the rules to protest moderator or admin actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM the moderator or admin and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

* Staff reserves the right to delete any threads or posts at anytime as we see fit.
* Any staff member has the right to edit any post we feel appropriate (against the rules, for example). If the Global Moderators or Administrator edit your post and you feel that it was in no way "harmful" to anyone, you should contact the Administrator or the Global Moderator that edited it.
